Clinical supervision, online across the UK

Supervision at Second Lens draws on CBT, DBT and trauma-focused practice across the lifespan. It is a confidential, reflective space to think through complex work, keep practice safe and ethical, and look after yourself as a clinician.

How supervision works

  1. Free introductory call

A 20-minute video call to talk about your work, what you need from supervision, and whether we’re a good fit.

  2. Agree how we’ll work

We agree your goals, how often to meet, and a written supervision agreement covering confidentiality and records.

  3. Meet online

Regular 60 or 90-minute sessions by secure video, usually monthly or fortnightly.

Individual supervision is £140 for 60 minutes or £200 for 90 minutes. Trainees pay £95 or £140.

Questions about supervision

Does supervision count towards BABCP accreditation?

Yes. Rachel is a BABCP-accredited CBT psychotherapist, so supervision with her can count towards accreditation and reaccreditation. BABCP also asks for live supervision at least twice a year, which can be built into your sessions.

Who do you supervise?

Psychologists, CBT and DBT therapists, counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as nurses, occupational therapists and social workers using psychological approaches. Trainees are welcome too.

How much does clinical supervision cost?

£140 for 60 minutes or £200 for 90 minutes, with reduced rates for trainees. The introductory call is free.

Do I need to be in London?

No. Second Lens is based in London, but all supervision takes place online, so you can join from anywhere in the UK.

How much supervision do I need?

It depends on your caseload and your professional body. For example, BABCP asks full-time accredited therapists to have at least 1.5 hours of supervision a month.
